Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Use several numeric summary measures to describe information 2. Use various charting and graphic tools to visualize information 3. Apply numeric summaries and chart applications to map design and analysis problems 4. Apply data analysis tools to a variety of common information analysis problems 5. Use appropriate tools to locate, import, export, transform and manipulate data between information resources and applications programs 6.
