Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: 1. Demonstrate improved control of breath, posture, pitch, range, color/texture, and volume. 2. Demonstrate improved diction, both vocalic and consonantal. 3. Demonstrate improved language skill in English, Italian, French, and German. 4. Demonstrate improved ability to stand up and sing before an audience in the performance style required by the music and to meet standard protocol for vocal performance. 5. Acquire useful exercises and practice techniques 6. Demonstrate expanded musical and stylistic awareness, 7. Critically evaluate their singing more effectively.
