Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: 1. Demonstrate a working knowledge of: a. Guitar maintenance, b. Guitar terminology, c. Basic familiarity with guitar notation 2. Working knowledge of transposition, chord identification, and chord progression. 3. Left-hand technique as applied to chording skills and lead line playing. 4. Right-hand strumming and arpeggio patterns. 5. Arrangements of a song accompaniment in a style of the student’s choice.
