Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: 1. Play all major scales (hands together, 2 octaves), C, G, D, A, E, B and F minor scales (hands separate, one octave). 2. Play arpeggios of above keys, 2 octaves. 3. Play progressions containing vii6, V7/V, all 7th chords, all cadential formulas (authentic, plagal, deceptive, and Phrygian), diatonice circle of fifths. 4. Play from figured bass, which includes above progressions. 5. Play transposition of short piece. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: |
