FR 150 - First-Year French
Associated Term: Spring 2014
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Identify and describe people, places and things. 2. Express actions with "-er," "-ir," and "-re" verbs. 3. Express disagreement 4. Get information by asking "yes/no" questions 5. Mention a specific place or person. 6. Express possession 7. Indicate the absence of something. 8. Talk about plans, family and destinations. 9. Express what one is doing or making with the verb "faire." 10. Speak about the future. 11. Talk about food and drink, express quantity and give commands. 12. Express preferences, tell time, point out people and things. 13. Express desire, ability, obligation and necessity. 14. Ask about choices and describe people and things. 15. Talk about actions in the past. 16. Become familiar with Francophone cultures.
